One of the main concerns of patients who want to have dental implants in Barcelona is the cost of the implants.
However, we would like to point out that the dental implants should not be considered only as an expense, but as an investment in your long-term dental health. At our clinic, we work to make dental implants of the highest quality accessible to everyone in Barcelona.
The procedure and durability are the most common questions we tend to have and we are happy to answer any questions you may have, but if your main concern is the cost of dental implants, we offer flexible payment plans and financing options.
We work with closed, published prices, which is what lets you compare one quote with another without surprises: the full tariff is on our prices page.
The initial study is free and includes the X-ray and the scan, the tests that tell you whether your case is suitable for an implant and how many are needed. Without that, any figure is only an estimate.

Titanium Implants
At first glance, dental implants may appear to be an expensive option compared to other tooth replacement methods such as dentures.
However, both dentures and bridges typically require repair or replacement every 5 to 10 years. The recurring expenses associated with this type of care can easily outweigh the costs of opting for implants, which can last a lifetime if properly cared for.
In addition, implants prevent deterioration of the jawbone, something that is not achieved with dentures or bridges.
Jaw deterioration can affect the shape of the face and, therefore, the patient’s appearance, making him or her appear larger than he or she really is.
Also, existing teeth can become loose, as the jawbone provides the structure that holds them in place.
If this structure is lost, it is likely that the remaining teeth will also be lost.
Therefore, it is advisable to consider dental implants as an investment rather than an expense.
Now, how much do dental implants cost?
Titanium Implants Price
The price of an implant varies from case to case, and the variation has concrete causes: how many teeth are involved, whether bone needs to be regenerated first, the type of crown and, above all, what each quote actually includes.
Our price is 1,100 € per implant, all inclusive. All inclusive means that is what you pay for that tooth, with no extras appearing halfway through the treatment. It covers the four things needed to finish the tooth:
- The titanium implant, the artificial root that integrates into the bone.
- The abutment, the piece that joins the implant to the crown and takes the force of chewing.
- The custom crown, made to match the shape and colour of your neighbouring teeth.
- The follow-up visits, both before surgery and during the healing period.
Those four items are exactly the ones that many quotes bill separately, which is why two figures that look very different often end up close. Before comparing two prices, ask both clinics what each one includes.
What can genuinely be charged separately, and appears in the quote from the start, is bone regeneration or a sinus lift if your case needs one. Some patients need a single implant and others several, so a multiple-tooth case is quoted as a whole and not by multiplying this figure.
You will find the full treatment explained on dental implants in Barcelona.
What really makes two quotes differ is not the implant itself but what each one puts inside. When asking for a price, check these four items, because they are the ones sometimes billed separately:
- The crown, the tooth itself, and whether it is custom made or off the shelf.
- The abutment, the piece connecting the implant to the crown.
- Visits and care before and after surgery.
- The prior tests, X-ray and scan, which are what tell you whether your case is suitable at all.
In our case all four are included in the 1,100 € of the implant, and the initial study is free. If bone regeneration or a sinus lift were needed, that is listed separately and appears in the quote from day one, never halfway through the treatment.

Zygomatic implants
If you require zygomatic implants, it is important to consider that the costs may be slightly higher than regular dental implants.
These implants are longer and require greater skill and training for correct placement.
Generally, zygomatic implants are recommended for patients who have suffered significant bone and gum loss.
However, an advantage of zygomatic implants is that the need for additional bone grafting surgeries is avoided.
Regarding the cost of dental implants, it is important to keep in mind that each case is unique. In general, the cost of a single zygomatic dental implant can range from 1,600 to 2,200 euros.
It is important to note that the cost of the dental implant itself is not the only expense.
Other costs to consider include the crown, which can be custom or stock, the abutment that connects the implant to the crown, the cost of tooth and root extraction, the cost of dental clinic visits, as well as pre and post-operative care, some clinics charge separately but we include it in the budget.
